In my experience, if they can get you to bond with your coworkers like family, you'll stay no matter how they treat you. At my last job, they even had singles mixers to try and get people to couple up.

Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful for the relationships that I built at work at my last job, but I now see exactly what it was being used for and am not looking to participate in it again. It lets you get away with paying people less, staying through shitty re-orgs, and putting up with aggressive leadership without losing people...no thanks.
