Thanks for writing this, I also recently wrote my own article telling everyone in my life exactly why I won't be getting married anytime soon, and your article really struck a cord with me. Definitely isn't conventional, and people probably do think it's odd, but we're happy living our lives together without adding the legal bonds of marriage that we've seen end so badly.
